This Privacy Policy explains how Hedjee (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit hedjee.com (the “Site”). Hedjee provides regional US diesel price forecasts and price-change alerts for fuel planning. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information we collect
- Usage & analytics data. When you use the Site we automatically collect standard analytics information such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate location (derived from IP), device and browser type, and interactions with the forecast tools. This is collected through Google Analytics 4 (see “Third-party services” below).
- Contact & alert information. If you sign up for price alerts or send feedback, we collect the email address (and any message) you provide, so we can deliver the alerts you requested or respond to you.
We do not knowingly collect payment information, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and forecasts.
- To send the price alerts or respond to feedback you request.
- To understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, so we can make it better.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.
Cookies & similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, primarily for analytics via Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the forecasts.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Site. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:

- Hosting & infrastructure providers: to serve the Site and deliver alerts.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. For example, we retain your email while you are subscribed to alerts and remove it after you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ configured retention period.
Your choices & rights
- Alerts: unsubscribe at any time using the link in an alert email or by contacting us.
- Analytics: opt out using the browser add-on above or by blocking cookies.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of any “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
